Overview
As Security & Compliance Lead, you'll define and shape Atari's global security strategy — covering operational security, AI security, and applicable compliance requirements — while acting as a strategic partner to leadership. You'll own the compliance framework end-to-end, from policy design through audit readiness, and champion AI-driven automation to make security processes more efficient and scalable. You'll work closely with IT, Development, Operations, HR, Legal, and Finance, and will regularly engage with executive leadership and the board.
What You’ll Do
Security Strategy & Leadership
Define and shape global security strategy — operational security, AI security, and compliance — and act as a strategic partner to leadership, positioning security as a business enabler
Define security metrics and KPIs that demonstrate program maturity and business value
Compliance & Risk Management
Develop and oversee security and compliance policy frameworks across all departments, continuously monitoring posture and closing gaps
Design risk assessment frameworks and oversee organizational risk management initiatives
Drive adoption of compliance tools like Sprinto and define workflows for evidence collection and audit readiness
Audits & Security Assessments
Establish and oversee internal audit programs, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors
Review security assessment findings and define strategies to reduce the attack surface area
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Build strategic relationships across IT, Development, Operations, HR, Legal, and Finance to drive alignment on security initiatives
Establish a vendor security management framework covering risk criteria, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring
Present security and compliance posture to executive leadership and the board with strategic recommendations
Incident Response
Oversee the incident response program, provide strategic direction on major incidents, and drive them to closure with root cause analysis and preventive measures
AI & Automation
Champion AI and automation initiatives across compliance processes to improve efficiency and scalability
Decision-Making Authority
Security strategy, risk appetite, and organizational security standards
Security budget, vendor selections, and major tool implementations
Security policy frameworks and compliance program structure
Executive/board escalations and presentation content
Audit schedules, scope, and strategic remediation timelines
Automation and AI initiative investments
Stakeholder engagement priorities
Qualifications
Required
8+ years of progressive experience in information security and compliance roles with demonstrated strategic leadership
Deep knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory requirements, including operational security, AI security considerations, and applicable compliance standards
Proven track record in developing and executing global security strategies across diverse organizational contexts
Experience implementing compliance management platforms (Sprinto, Vanta, Drata, or similar) at scale
Vision for leveraging AI-driven automation and process optimization in security and compliance workflows
Exceptional stakeholder management and influence skills across all organizational levels
Strategic incident response leadership with experience overseeing complex security incidents and driving organizational learning
Preferred
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent
Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry
Thought leadership in AI security and emerging technology risk management
Experience designing security automation and orchestration strategies
Track record of driving organizational transformation and security culture change
Experience serving as a trusted advisor to board-level committees on security and risk matters
