Kitchen Assistant / (Cook)

Your tasks

Duties include Cleaning/ washing dishes, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans and floors, etc. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness & hygiene. General upkeep of the kitchen areas Potato & Vegetable Prep Preparing and serving quality food. Assisting Chef/ Cook to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Adhering to best practices in H.A.C.C.P., food preparation, cooking and hygiene etc. (Preparing & Cooking mostly - Soup, Traditional Irish Dinners, Suppers, Deserts and Baking Scones & Cakes etc).

Requirements

Skills Requirement Suitable candidate must be kind, trustworthy, enthusiastic, hardworking and a good team worker. Excellent organisational & communication skills and an excellent command of the English language- verbal and written. Must have an interest in cooking or learning to cook.

Experience in a similar position is an advantage but not necessary- as full training will be given.

This position is for an immediate start & suitable candidate must have Permission to Access the Labour market.

Generally working- 1 Full & 1 Half Day per week - Approx 14 Hours per Week (Saturday 8am-6pm & Sunday 9am-2pm Sunday). Includes weekends but no late nights. Suitable Candidate must be available to work flexible days/ hours and must also be available to Cover Annual Leave and Sick Leave etc.
