Analogue IC Design Engineer Location: Southampton - Remote working Rate: £55 per hour Contract: Inside IR35 Sector: Aerospace & Defence About the Role We are seeking an experienced Analogue/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join an established IC Design team developing advanced infrared imaging and detector technologies for applications including earth observation, thermal imaging, surveillance, and search-and-track systems. Key Responsibilities Design analogue and mixed-signal ICs at transistor , cell and block level . Translate design requirements into robust, verified solutions. Support complex IC development from design through verification. Work collaboratively with engineering teams to deliver projects to specification and schedule. Essential Experience Formal qualification in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics or a related discipline . Several years' experience in analogue /mixed-signal IC design . Strong transistor-level analogue design experience. Experience designing complex CMOS ICs. Ability to deliver accurate, verified designs within project timescales. Desirable CMOS Readout IC (ROIC) experience. Imaging IC or image sensor design. Infrared detector electronics. Semiconductor, ASIC or mixed-signal design experience.
