Supply Chain Finance Business Partner

Adele Carr Recruitment is partnering with a growing and successful FMCG company based near Chester with reference to an urgent requirement for a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner.

The role will be based on a 6 month FTC with the possibility of a permanent position.

The purpose of the role is to provide finance support to the Head of Supply Chain and SLT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Supply Chain with producing up to date and timely financial information and reports, including PR, SBR, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proactive review and analysis of supply chain cost data and inventory levels, looking to identify insights to drive commercial performance (eg highlighting wastage trends, reducing stock levels, evaluating capital proposals supporting commercial growth, challenging cost allocation models)
• Support the Head of Supply Chain in developing KPIs to aid in management of the site and drive improvements in understanding and efficiency.
• Attend all key weekly meetings and be the key point of contact for the Head of Supply Chain.
• Full understanding and accountability for the group cost base; developing insight into key movements across all key areas.
• Develop cost / haulier / cost to serve / margin and inflation tracking / recovery
• Month on month spend variation / link to S&OP volumes, delivery profile stock and inventory / costs and capacity
• Base operation and specials and the need to track / understand the volumes that are delivered / drive interrogation

The Person

• FMCG experience desirable, but other forms of manufacturing will be considered
• Ideally a qualified accountant
• Strong IT skills
• Strong at relationship building
• Analytical skills being able to summerise
