Job Title: Trainer / Process Coach – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Department: Operations – Revenue Cycle Management (Medical Billing)
Job Summary
The Trainer / Process Coach is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes. The role focuses on new hire training, refresher training, process updates, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous coaching to improve productivity, quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct new hire, refresher, and process-specific training across RCM functions.
Provide floor coaching, mentoring, and nesting support.
Develop and maintain SOPs, training manuals, QRGs, presentations, and assessments.
Conduct knowledge assessments and certification programs.
Analyze quality and productivity trends; perform root cause analysis and deliver corrective training.
Partner with Operations, Quality, SMEs, and Leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain training records, dashboards, coaching trackers, and TNI reports.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management and Medical Billing.
Knowledge of Eligibility, Charge Entry, Payment Posting, AR, Denials, Appeals, and Patient Billing.
Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, Commercial Insurance, EMR/EHR, and Practice Management Systems.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree.
3–7 years of US Healthcare RCM experience.
1–2 years in Training, Coaching, SME, or Quality preferred.
Medical Billing/Coding certification and Lean Six Sigma are added advantages.
