IT Systems & ERP Support Executive | Information Technology & Business Applications

Your tasks

We are seeking an IT Systems & ERP Support Executive to oversee and support our day-to-day office IT infrastructure, physical security systems, and business application platforms. The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support to internal users, maintain workplace hardware and network security baselines, and assist with data preparation, UAT testing, and system administration for our Odoo ERP platform. This role provides structured mentorship and progressive on-the-job upskilling.

1. End-User Computing & Helpdesk Administration:

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktop and laptop workstations (Windows/macOS), monitors, and network peripherals.
• Manage hardware staging, OS imaging, asset tagging, peripheral inventory, and scheduled equipment lifecycle maintenance.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including user identity provisioning, Exchange mailbox delegation, Teams, and SharePoint/OneDrive access controls.

2. Network & Centralised Endpoint Security:

• Monitor and maintain office network infrastructure, including Cisco firewall health, network switches, and office Wi-Fi access points.
• Administer endpoint protection via Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services (Centralised Cloud Console), ensuring active agent deployment, virus definition updates, group policy compliance, and swift isolation/resolution of security incidents.
• Enforce baseline cybersecurity hygiene, including strong password policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and secure remote access (VPN).

3. Physical Security & Workplace Facilities:

• Supervise routine operational health of the office IP CCTV surveillance system, including camera connectivity, NVR recording status, storage retention checks, and authorized footage retrieval.
• Maintain the office door access control system, managing credential provisioning (cards/biometrics), door access schedules, and access review audit logs.

4. ERP & Business Applications Support (Odoo):

• Assist in configuring user access permissions, role-based views, and workflow configurations within Odoo ERP.
• Perform master data cleansing, standardization, and validation (products, inventory units, suppliers, customers) using structured Excel templates and Python scripting (pandas/openpyxl).
• Participate in module verification, functional User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and the compilation of standard operational user guides.

Requirements

Job Requirements & Competencies

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Candidates with equivalent practical work experience, professional certifications, or demonstrated technical aptitude are equally welcome to apply.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience or working knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting and Microsoft 365 cloud administration.
• Solid foundational understanding of IP networking principles (DHCP, DNS, IPv4 subnets, Wi-Fi configuration, and firewall access rules).
• Familiarity with endpoint security management, preferably utilizing centralized cloud-managed suites such as Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security.
• Prior exposure to or an active interest in learning Python programming, SQL/relational databases, and enterprise ERP platforms (e.g., Odoo).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical users and coordinate effectively with external vendors.
• Self-motivated learner open to developmental upskilling and on-the-job technical certifications.
