Product Research and Development Officer

1. Responsible for developing new products under the brand and OEM for Sofine/Trading customers
2. Improve the quality of existing products to ensure efficiency in terms of both production and market product quality
3. Experiment to find substitute raw materials to reduce costs and improve quality, as well as manage products after experimentation
4. Able to develop production processes suitable for new products at both pilot and actual production levels
5. Collaborate with the R&D Manager in studying and sourcing equipment and machinery that can be used to reduce costs and increase production efficiency
6. Understand various standards and country-specific regulations to ensure operations under quality systems and various standards such as ISO / BRC that the company is certified for
7. Able to analyze the causes of problems occurring during work, collect data, and process them for resolution
8. Prepare and evaluate the costs of developed products
9. Study methods for reheating products and prepare manuals and product spec documents
10. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Product Development, Fisheries, Biochemistry, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields Knowledge in sensory and statistical evaluation, tasting evaluation, and food knowledge Able to solve problems occurring from product production in the Lab and production Line in conjunction with the section head Fair level of English understanding and above Good understanding of using and reading scientific instruments Computer literacy Able to adapt under pressure Work Monday to Friday and alternating Saturdays, 08:00 - 17:00 น.
