Quality Technician

Are you passionate about quality, food safety, and plant work? We are looking for a dynamic, proactive person with the ability to interact with different areas of the operation, ensuring compliance with quality standards in our processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the plant.
• Perform monitoring and inspections on production lines (weight, appearance, sealing, coding, cleaning, among others).
• Execute monitoring of critical points and operational control points.
• Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, and finished product.
• Record results in established formats and systems.
• Identify, document, and report deviations and non-conformities.
• Ensure the correct release and retention of product according to quality and food safety criteria.
• Participate in the investigation and follow-up of consumer complaints and internal deviations.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal, customer, and certification audits.
• Verify cleaning, order, sanitation, and pest control conditions.
• Provide awareness training and promote the culture of quality and food safety with operational personnel.

Profile

• Engineering in Biotechnology, B.S. in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering with a specialty in Quality, or related.
• Experience in line monitoring, floor inspection, and quality processes.
• Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English.
• Desirable knowledge of Power BI.
