Operation Manager
- Manage and supervise the operations of the operations department to ensure they meet the company's goals and standards
- Control and monitor land, sea, air, and cross-border transportation from origin to destination
- Supervise operational efficiency to comply with SLA, Operational Standard, and specified service conditions
- Control and develop quality standards for transportation, vehicle inspections, equipment, and driver readiness
- Manage, evaluate, and develop the quality of suppliers and transportation service providers to meet company standards
- Analyze problems and errors occurring in the operational process, while determining solutions and preventing recurrence
- Support the CS department with operational data and solutions to enable accurate and rapid responses and information provision to customers
- Develop work processes using Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Automation concepts to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Analyze and control costs, including managing resources and vehicles for maximum efficiency
- Manage risks and prepare readiness for emergencies or incidents that may affect operations
- Supervise operations to comply with laws, customs regulations, and relevant requirements
- Manage and develop the team, while promoting collaboration between departments
- Prepare reports and analyze operational results, while presenting improvement guidelines to management
- Work with the CS department and Sales department to prepare operational readiness for new customers, special projects, and new service models
- Coordinate with suppliers, partners, shipping lines, airlines, transportation service providers, and government agencies related to operations
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field At least 8 years of experience in Logistics / Transportation / Freight Forwarding At least 5 years of experience in operational management at a Manager level or equivalent Knowledge and experience in cross-border land, sea, and air transportation Knowledge of import–export operations and customs formalities Experience in Quality Control and supplier management/evaluation Skills in data analysis, cost management, and strategic planning Leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and drive cross-functional work Good communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience in Lean / Continuous Improvement / Automation will be specially considered Proficient in Microsoft Office and Logistics / Transportation systems Able to communicate in English at a professional working level
