Analyst (Product)

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Perform physical and chemical testing of Bulk products, finished products, and validated products according to specifications within timeframes consistent with the production plan.
2. Perform Stability Testing of products according to the specified timeframe.
3. Perform cleaning validation/monitoring of machinery and equipment using Swab methods and chemical testing.
4. Perform Method Validation/Verification.
5. Calibrate testing instruments according to the defined plan.
6. Responsible for the maintenance of testing instruments as assigned.
7. Responsible for the preparation and standardization of volumetric standard solutions and test solutions.
8. Responsible for the requisition and stock control of Reference Standards.
9. Responsible for checking the expiration dates of tests and volumetric standard solutions.
10. Comply with GMP safety guidelines and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
11. Prepare or update relevant manuals/Standard Operating Procedures as assigned.
12. Train and supervise technical staff (Product Department).
13. Prepare requests for the purchase of glassware, chemicals, and necessary spare parts.
14. Report any abnormalities found during work immediately and prepare documentation according to operating procedures.
15. Check laboratory safety (e.g., turning off electrical switches, closing water valves) at the end of the working day, and perform other duties as occasionally assigned by supervisors or managers.
16. Perform Proficiency Testing / Interlaboratory Comparison.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree (Science or Pharmacy) or higher. Have at least 3-5 years of experience in development and analysis within the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Chemical, or Packaging industries. Have experience using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other analytical instruments. Have knowledge of GMP, GLP, ICH Guidelines, USP, EP, ISO 17025. Have team management and analytical problem-solving skills. Skills in SAP, ERP, or LIMS will be given special consideration. Able to work with cross-functional teams and communicate well. Have good English communication skills.
