Service Mechanical Engineer for Marine Propulsion Equipment
Performing restorative work to troubleshoot marine equipment. Maintaining technical correspondence with equipment suppliers and customers in English. Handling claims in accordance with equipment manufacturers' service agreements. Participating in installation and commissioning works of the propulsion complex and marine power plants: diesel generator sets (DGU); main engines (GD); azimuth thrusters (VRK); gearboxes with controllable pitch propellers (VRSH) and fixed pitch propellers (VFSH). Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of equipment. Working with spare parts catalogs, selecting and ordering spare parts (ZIP). Periodic (frequent) business trips within the Russian Federation, including to shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises.
Requirements
Higher technical education (marine engineering, marine power engineering, electromechanical, or related field). At least 5 years of relevant experience. Confident knowledge of the design and operating principles of propulsion equipment. Skills in reading technical documentation and drawings in English. Proficient use of PC and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). English language level sufficient for technical correspondence and negotiations (B1 B2 and above). Readiness for frequent business trips within the RF. Experience working as a mechanic/electromechanic on vessels (preferred). Experience working with equipment from manufacturers: Weichai, NGC (preferred).
Higher education — specialist degree, master's degree; Experience: 6 years
