Key Tasks
Management of the laboratory direction
- Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the laboratory and the fulfillment of production plans, acceptance deadlines, and shipments of finished products.
- Setting tasks, defining priorities, and controlling work results.
- Forming training and development programs for laboratory employees.
- Developing employees' understanding of the applied laboratory control methods.
- Forming a stable system of interchangeability and knowledge transfer within the laboratory.
- Determining the laboratory's needs for personnel, equipment, and other resources.
- Planning and controlling the budget of the laboratory direction.
Development of laboratory control methods
- Expert assessment of current laboratory control methods.
- Ensuring and improving the accuracy of laboratory tests.
- Development, implementation, and improvement of laboratory control methods.
- Development and updating of laboratory control instructions and methodologies.
- Analysis of the causes of non-conformities and problems in laboratory control, development, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Organization and conduct of Measurement Systems Analysis - MSA.
- Methodological support for employees when performing complex and non-standard laboratory tests.
- Solving complex analytical problems, including those related to the introduction of new products and new methods, including customer requirements.
- Control over the accounting and monitoring of materials containing precious metals in the laboratory.
Laboratory equipment and measurements
- Ensuring the correct operation of laboratory equipment by the group's personnel.
- Determining the needs for modernization and acquisition of new laboratory equipment.
- Preparing technical requirements, providing leadership in the selection, acceptance, and commissioning of equipment.
- Organization of verification, calibration, and suitability control of measuring instruments.
- Planning needs for standard samples, reagents, gases, and consumables.
- Interaction with equipment manufacturers, service organizations, and external laboratories.
Participation in company quality management
- Participation in the management of non-conforming products and the development of corrective measures.
- Participation in the implementation of new products and technological processes.
- Participation in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and the development of control plans.
- Participation in the analysis of process effectiveness and the development of measures for their improvement.
Expected work results During the first year, it is necessary to: study the specifics of production, products, and applied laboratory control methods and the organization of laboratory work; determine the main directions for further development of the laboratory; form a development program for laboratory employees; ensure adequate documentation and maintain the relevance of laboratory methodologies and instructions; master the company's main QMS processes and the requirements of QMS standards ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ГОСТ Р 58139, as well as the main quality tools in automotive (Automotive Tools).
Requirements
Candidate requirements Higher education in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or another related chemical field. Deep knowledge in chemistry, analysis, and sample preparation. Practical experience working as an analytical chemist in a production, testing, or research laboratory for at least 3 years. Knowledge and practical experience working with complex analytical equipment. Experience in the development, implementation, or improvement of analytical methodologies. Knowledge of the basics of metrological support for measurement processes and the management of measuring instruments and testing equipment. Ability to analyze the causes of problems, develop ways to solve problems, and evaluate their effectiveness. Ability and readiness to personally solve complex analytical problems. Experience in managing a laboratory, a group of specialists, or a specific professional direction. Ability to train employees and provide support in developing their professional competence. Management potential. Ability to make decisions, build interaction with related departments, and bring improvements to a practical result.

- Experience in atomic emission spectrometry, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, and other complex instrumental methods of inorganic analysis.
- Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ГОСТ Р 58139.
- Experience in conducting MSA and using statistical methods.
- Experience participating in internal and external audits.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, experience working in an accredited laboratory.
- Experience participating in FMEA, development of control plans, and implementation of new products.
- English language at a level that allows working with technical documentation from equipment manufacturers and analytical methodologies, as well as communicating with foreign colleagues on laboratory control issues.
