Chief Business Development Officer – Crypto Business

Within the framework of developing a new Crypto Business direction, we are looking for a Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) who will lead the launch and subsequent development of the direction, develop a market entry strategy, and be responsible for business development, forming strategic partnerships, and expanding the customer base.

• Develop and implement the business strategy for the launch and development of the crypto-brokerage direction and the Go-to-Market strategy.
• Formulate the business plan, define the key priorities, initiatives, and projects to achieve strategic goals.
• Develop a Value Proposition for different target customer groups: traders, investors, and institutional clients.
• Analyze the digital assets market, the competitive environment, prospective jurisdictions, and priority geographical markets.
• Develop the customer base and form an effective sales system in B2C, B2B, and institutional segments.
• Seek and develop strategic partnerships with cryptocurrency exchanges, market makers, Liquidity Providers, payment systems, and companies providing custody and fiat services.
• Conduct negotiations and conclude strategic partnership agreements, including for the purpose of integrating fiat and cryptocurrency fund in and out channels.
• Develop the direction of work with institutional clients, including investment funds, family offices, and OTC traders.
• Formulate and subsequently lead Business Development, Sales, and Partnerships functions.
• Ensure effective collaboration with Product, Legal & Compliance, Technology, and Marketing teams for the successful launch and subsequent scaling of the business.

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including leadership positions in Business Development, Institutional Sales, or trading directions.
• Work experience in one or more of the following sectors: crypto brokerage, cryptocurrency exchange, FX brokerage, FinTech, or other financial technology directions.
• Deep knowledge of the digital assets market, its infrastructure, pricing mechanisms, liquidity, market makers, and Liquidity Providers.
• Proven experience in launching a financial, brokerage, FinTech, or crypto product/business direction from scratch and successful scaling.
• Practical experience in developing and implementing business strategy, business plans, and Go-to-Market strategy.
• Experience in B2B and institutional client acquisition, as well as closing large commercial and strategic deals.
• Presence of developed professional connections among crypto/FinTech ecosystem participants: liquidity providers, payment systems, exchanges, investment funds, and other strategic partners.
• Knowledge of the specifics of the USA and international markets.
• High negotiation skills, strategic and commercial thinking.
• Experience in team formation and management, as well as ensuring effective collaboration between different functions.
• High adaptability and the ability to make informed decisions in a rapidly changing market and regulatory environment.
• Fluency in English for working with international partners. Excellent knowledge of Russian is mandatory; knowledge of Armenian and other languages will be considered an advantage.
