Database Developer

The SQL database development specialist is responsible for the operation, integrity, queries, and procedures of databases, as well as preparing separate reports regarding databases based on MS SQL/PostgreSQL Server. Additional requirements include database development, ensuring stability, reliability, and efficient operation.

Development of high-quality solutions for databases

Development, implementation, and optimization of stored procedures and functions using T-SQL, PL/SQL

Support in ensuring and increasing database operational efficiency

Development of relevant, applicable templates for reporting

Development of extensive queries for applications and business analysis reports

Responsibility for integration with other systems and implementation of various requirements presented to reports

Analysis of existing SQL queries for performance improvement, troubleshooting

Use of ETL tools

Testing of developed solutions

Higher education (preferably in computer science or a similar field)

At least 2 years of work experience in a relevant field

Experience working with MS SQL Server 2012/2016 or more modern versions, PostgreSQL server, including the use of Query Analyzer tools, stored procedures, Jobs, and Profiler tools

Clarifying ambiguous data queries with business stakeholders before the start of the development process

Designing data models that transform raw data into processed, reliable, and business-applicable datasets

Experience working with PL/SQL, T-SQL

Knowledge of query execution plans

Good knowledge of indexing, query execution, and normalization tools

Good knowledge of relational database management systems

Skills in data extraction from databases and grouping according to user requirements

Experience working with Power BI and SSRS

Knowledge of Excel programming and data management principles

Knowledge of XML/JSON

Good knowledge of English

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to orient quickly and make independent decisions

Ability to work in a team
