The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the factory and ensuring that production activities are carried out efficiently, safely and according to company requirements.
- Plan, organise and supervise daily factory production and operations.
- Manage workers and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Monitor the manufacturing of curtains and other textile products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Oversee the operation of sewing machines, curtain pleating machines and other production equipment.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure orders are completed within the required deadlines.
- Coordinate the preparation, cutting, sewing, finishing, packing and delivery of finished products.
- Conduct quality checks and resolve production or workmanship issues.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working condition.
- Maintain a safe and organised factory environment and ensure workers comply with workplace safety procedures.
- Monitor raw materials, fabrics, accessories and production supplies and arrange replenishment when necessary.
- Maintain production, inventory and operational records.
- Coordinate with management, suppliers, installers and other departments regarding production requirements.
- Train and supervise factory workers and monitor their work performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Perform other factory management and operational duties as assigned by management.
