Key Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, including faulty motors, fans, and wiring, and replacing defective parts.

Testing and Adjustment: Testing newly installed equipment and adjusting system performance to ensure they meet operational standards.

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all maintenance and repair work performed, often using service management systems.

Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to safety procedures, regulations, and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Client Communication: Interacting with customers to explain technical issues, provide recommendations for system upgrades, and address their air conditioning concerns.

Technical Skills Involved

Electrical Diagnostics: The ability to interpret electrical diagrams, troubleshoot wiring, and test electrical components.

Mechanical Repair: Repairing or replacing various mechanical parts of air conditioning systems, such as belts, gears, and motors.
