For more information, visit WPP.com. Why we're hiring: In this role you will be a member of the Workday Services Team supporting the Workday and connected applications. Your role will grow as we further deploy and expand our controls coverage both geographically and capability. Reporting to the Workday Services Risk and Controls Lead, this role is responsible for ensuring that WPP’s Business Platforms & Corporate control activities and evidence is recorded and documented as per our operating procedures and controls. This is an exciting role working with the wider Business Platforms and Corporate function teams to provide a world class level of support, development, compliance, governance and security on a day-to-day basis and in support of project deployments. The Workday Services team supports the delivery and post go-live support, maintenance and enhancement of the Workday solutions. This flagship ERP is currently being deployed across our global landscape to address the technology needs of Finance, Projects, and our People function – so essentially it touches all our employees to some degree. There are also extended responsibilities beyond Workday ERP, with role also supporting other key corporate applications. What you'll be doing: • Lead the development of risk and control related artefacts to support the delivery and ongoing support of a quality, well governed and compliant systems (and its adjacent technologies). This includes both System Development Lifecycle controls (SDLC) operating throughout the delivery of the ERP to its client business operation, as well as controls operating in a business-as-usual operations. • Support the monitoring of the controls operated or supported by the different delivery and services team and work with relevant cluster Cyber, Risk and Controls teams to keep each system compliant. This includes key programme milestones and SDLC deliverables, Privileged Access Monitoring; Joiners, Mover Leavers activities and related automations, Normal and Emergency change processes; SoC, Cyber Resilience, and DR assessments. • Working closely with the transformation functions ensure evidence of the performance of key control activities, including SDLC related evidence is appropriately documented, captured, and retained. • Support the execution of the periodic User Access Reviews process, the introduction of new features and other continuous improvements to the UAR process. • Support the execution of the periodic Change Reviews ensuring compliance with the approval processes and respective Segregation of Duties. • Lead/Support the development and presentation of management dashboards on the progress updates over the completion • Lead/Support the development and implementation of process and control improvements via machine learning, robotic process and agentic AI solutions. • Champion recommendations for continuous improvement within the team What you'll need: • 3+ years’ experience working in complex global organisations. • Experience working in a Tier 1 ERP (Workday, SAP, Oracle and Dynamics 365) global deployments and/or BAU environment, • Experience in engaging with internal controls and compliance functions or with internal or external audits teams (prior audit experience Internal or External (Big4) preferred). • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, internal controls, audit principles (CISA qualified preferred) • Strong Excel and data manipulation skills. • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders. • Strong organisational skills and time and task management. • Ability to work independently. • Creative solutioning and strong problem-solving skills with agility for fast and simple solutions • Credibility, professionalism, and strong personal integrity.
