Mechanical Engineer

Industry: Semiconductor / Automation Equipment Role Overview We are a leading organization specializing in the development of semiconductor equipment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our division. In this role, you will design, develop, and improve semiconductor and instrumentation products, driving projects from initial RFQ concept to final assembly and delivery. Key Responsibilities Design & Development: Develop detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and design concepts in SolidWorks according to customer requirements and technical specifications.

RFQ & Technical Proposals: Prepare design concepts and compile vendor/supplier quotations during the Request for Quotation (RFQ) stage. Review and confirm technical specifications with clients.

Documentation: Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), Working Instructions (WI), and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Project Execution: Coordinate project activities to ensure tasks are completed independently or collaboratively within scheduled timelines and budget constraints.

Product Support: Assist in the continuous development, testing, and improvement of semiconductor machinery and precision components.

Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation machine design.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software; strong capability in reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings.

Soft Skills: Highly organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and effective working both independently and in a team environment.

Flexibility: Willingness to support night shifts or extended hours when required by project demands.
