Project Manager – Product Development & Industrialization
Location: Västerås, Sweden Start: May 2026 On-site
We are looking for a Project Manager for an assignment in a global industrial environment, focusing on product development, industrialization, and product transfers between production sites.
You will play a key role in driving projects at the interface between R&D and production, ensuring a smooth transition from development to manufacturing. The assignment is part of a larger transformation journey, where new products and processes are introduced and implemented in production.
About the role
- Lead and drive projects within product development and industrialization from initiation to delivery
- Be responsible for project planning, follow-up, and reporting (time, cost, quality)
- Drive product transfers between production sites and ensure a stable transition into production
- Ensure efficient implementation of new products and processes in manufacturing
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, production, quality, and supply chain
- Identify risks and ensure mitigation actions are implemented
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
We are looking for someone who
- Has at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Has experience working with NPI, product development, or product transfers
- Has a strong understanding of production and industrialization processes
- Is fluent in English (required)
- Has Swedish language skills (meritorious)
