Job Description: Unloading deliveries from suppliers or transport vehicles. Inspecting products for damage or discrepancies and checking against delivery notes. Storing goods in appropriate locations within the warehouse to maximize space. Labeling and tagging inventory with relevant information. Counting stock regularly to ensure accuracy and to avoid stock out or overstocking. Picking items based on customer or internal orders. Packing goods securely for shipping, ensuring they are properly prepared to avoid damage during transit. Labeling packages with the correct information and delivery details. Ensuring accuracy in the picking and packing process to avoid errors in shipments. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to avoid accidents or injuries. Performing routine equipment checks to ensure everything is functioning properly. Adhering to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues. Reporting any issues such as damaged goods, discrepancies in inventory, or safety concerns to management.
