We give forward-thinking businesses the tools to accept, send, and manage payments effortlessly, wherever they operate.   Summary:   We are looking for a Lead Oracle Developer to design, optimize, and evolve Unlimit’s enterprise-grade Oracle data platforms that power our global financial systems. You will lead database design and performance initiatives across OLTP and OLAP environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration with data pipelines and AI-driven analytics.     What you will be doing: Lead Oracle database development across high-volume OLTP and OLAP environments. Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions for mission-critical applications. Architect scalable database schemas, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and data models. Drive database performance tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, partitioning, statistics management, and Oracle diagnostic tools (AWR, ASH). Plan and coordinate complex database releases while ensuring high availability and minimal production impact. Lead a team of Oracle developers, setting technical direction, reviewing code, mentoring engineers, and promoting engineering best practices. Establish standards for database development, testing, deployment, documentation, and code quality. Collaborate closely with backend engineers, DBAs, data engineers, platform teams, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions. Support production systems by investigating and resolving performance bottlenecks, database incidents, and scalability challenges. Partner with analytics and AI teams to enable efficient data pipelines and modern data architectures. Drive automation of database development, testing, and deployment through CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Continuously improve database reliability, maintainability, and development processes.     Qualifications: 6+ years of professional experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, ideally at or above OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) level. Solid understanding of OLTP and OLAP systems, including design, performance optimization, and maintenance. Proven experience developing and supporting 24x7 high-availability systems. Strong skills in query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and performance diagnostics using AWR/ASH or equivalent tools.Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers (2+ people).Proficiency with Git for version control and release management.Structured analytical thinking and attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT field. English proficiency (B2 or higher) for effective collaboration in a global environment.   Nice to have: Knowledge of data warehouse design principles and ETL integration. Familiarity with AI or analytics workloads that leverage Oracle or hybrid data architectures. Experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform for database provisioning. Understanding of PostgreSQL or cloud-managed databases (e.g., Aurora, RDS). Proven ability to collaborate across teams to resolve production performance and scalability challenges.
