IT Support/Systems Officer

Responsibilities:

Provide first- and second-level technical support. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Install, configure, and maintain computers and peripherals. Support network connectivity and infrastructure. Manage user accounts and access permissions. Monitor system performance. Implement data backup and recovery procedures. Support cybersecurity and information-security controls. Maintain IT asset registers. Install software and perform system updates. Document technical incidents and resolutions. Train users on systems and technology. Liaise with external IT service providers where necessary.

Requirements:

Minimum of an HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' relevant IT experience depending on level. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, or related certifications are an advantage. Strong troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of networks, operating systems, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
