Motion Designer, Core Vehicle Software UI

What to Expect We're looking for a Motion Designer to own all motion graphics across the vehicle UI and companion mobile app. You'll design and implement fluid, purposeful animations that elevate the in-car and phone experience—working closely with the core UI designers and engineers. You'll be embedded with the core vehicle software UI design team and expected to ship high-quality motion that feels native to Tesla's design language.

What You'll Bring 3+ years of full-time motion design experience

Strong portfolio of motion work 2D and 3D for interactive products (UI, apps, or games preferred)

Experience animating with code (e.g., Lottie, Rive, CSS/JS, native animation frameworks) and/or modern AI coding/animation tools

Ability to translate design intent into performant, production-ready motion

Expected Compensation

$133,000 - $285,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
