Barista

Job Description

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards and recipes.
• Greet customers warmly, provide excellent customer service, and assist with menu recommendations.
• Take customer orders accurately and process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensure beverages and food items are prepared and served efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, dining area, and workstations at all times.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, ingredients, and operational supplies, and report shortages when necessary.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in daily operations.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and courteously.
• Support daily outlet operations and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including equipment setup, cleaning, cash handling, and outlet preparation.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, preferably as a Barista or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso-based beverages, and basic latte art is preferred.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Well-groomed, disciplined, honest, and responsible.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills are an advantage.
