  • Design, develop, and maintain a new internal application dedicated to payment flow management within a payment ecosystem.
  • Implement and enhance functionalities covering:
  • Payment controls and validation.
  • Compliance and regulatory checks.
  • Exception management and processing.
  • Payment flow monitoring and operational controls.
  • Contribute to the implementation of SEPA 2026 requirements (SR2026) and ensure the application remains aligned with evolving payment standards.
  • Contribute to the migration towards and compliance with ISO 20022 standards, including XML-based payment messages and validation.
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable Java applications using modern Spring technologies.
  • Develop and integrate REST APIs and asynchronous/messaging-based interfaces with enterprise payment systems.
  • Work on database persistence and data processing using Oracle, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
  • Implement secure application components using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests and ensure high levels of code quality and test coverage.
  • Contribute to production stability, application monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Ensure compliance with technical, security, regulatory, and market standards throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to containerized and cloud-ready deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

How do we imagine our future Java Developer ?

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Java development, ideally within banking, financial services, or payment environments.
  • Strong expertise in Java 11/17/21 and modern Java development practices.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Spring Framework 6.x
  • Spring Boot 3.x
  • Maven
  • Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
  • Oracle databases
  • Solid knowledge of REST API development and integration, including Spring Boot Web and/or Spring WebFlux.
  • Experience with OpenAPI / Swagger and API documentation.
  • Good understanding of application security, particularly:
  • Spring Security 6.x
  • OAuth2
  • JWT / Nimbus JOSE + JWT
  • Experience with messaging and enterprise integration technologies, particularly:
  • IBM MQ
  • JMS
  • Spring Integration
  • Strong knowledge of XML technologies, including JAXB, DOM4J, Jaxen, SAAJ and XSD-based XML validation.
  • Experience with automated testing using JUnit 5 and Spring Boot Test.
  • Familiarity with code quality and observability tools such as SonarQube, JaCoCo, Logback, SLF4J, and Spring Boot Actuator.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of payment systems, SEPA, ISO 20022, or banking transaction processing is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in environments with strong regulatory, security, reliability, and production stability requirements.
  • Ability to work on complex technical transformation projects in a structured and collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on reliability, scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
