Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.

Manage and reconcile inventory records.

Monitor stock movements, purchases, usage, and balances.

Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and assist with stock counts.

Track and analyze production costs.

Prepare cost accounting reports and provide cost analysis to management.

Monitor raw material costs, labour costs, overheads, and production expenses.

Assist in determining product costing and profitability.

Identify inventory variances, wastage, and discrepancies.

Reconcile supplier invoices, purchase records, and inventory documentation.

Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.

Prepare periodic financial and management reports.

Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting procedures.

Work closely with procurement, stores, production, and management teams.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in accounting and inventory management.

Cost accounting experience is a MUST.

Strong understanding of inventory control and reconciliation.

Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in manufacturing, steel, or industrial production will be highly advantageous.
