Overview of Support Analyst - Trade Flow Pilot:
Coordinate on-boarding and migration of trading flows with technology and business stakeholders
Pipe cleaning of new asset classes to be traded in the firm using internal applications and broker/exchanges before the full-scale trading
Gatekeep the production environment by reviewing the changes in technology space; Create and maintain internal tools and scripts
Typical Day of Support Analyst:
Conduct scheduled pipe cleaning activities with regional trading desks and operations
Carry out analysis, planning & execution for any ongoing on boarding, migration projects
Analyze and provide feedback on changes going into production wherever gaps are identified, CAB approval
Provide assistance to trade floor support, operations and trading desks on any queries raised related to the trading flows
Skill Set Required for Position:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related subject
Understanding of the financial domain and different types of asset classes (at least listed ones - Equities & Derivatives)
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions
Experience working in Linux based environments and proficiency in at least one scripting language
Nice to have:
Understanding of trading fundamentals, including market types and asset classes.
Python, kdb+/q experience
