Senior DevOps Engineer

Speed Odds is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our technology team in Yerevan.

You will be responsible for the infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, security, and operational reliability of a large-scale B2B iGaming platform serving sportsbook and online casino operators worldwide.

The platform consists of multiple web applications, backend services, integrations, databases, and supporting systems. The role will work closely with backend developers, frontend developers, QA, security, and IT teams to build reliable development and production environments and ensure smooth deployment and operation of the platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing production infrastructure, automating deployments, troubleshooting complex systems, and maintaining highly available environments.

Design, implement, maintain, and improve development, staging, and production infrastructure

Manage and maintain cloud, on-premises, or hybrid infrastructure environments

Manage Windows-based application servers and IIS

Deploy and maintain .NET applications and backend services

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments

Automate repetitive infrastructure, configuration, and deployment tasks

Manage server configuration, networking, DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, and firewall rules

Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, availability, and resource utilization

Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards

Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues

Manage database infrastructure and coordinate with developers on SQL Server performance and availability

Manage backups, disaster recovery, and system recovery procedures

Implement infrastructure security best practices, access controls, secrets management, and system hardening

Manage application and server environments across development, staging, and production

Support release management and coordinate production deployments

Work closely with developers to improve application reliability and deployment processes

Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis

Maintain infrastructure and operational documentation

Help establish and improve DevOps standards, processes, and best practices

4+ years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, systems engineering, or a related role

Strong experience managing production infrastructure in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments

Strong experience with Windows Server environments

Strong experience with IIS and deployment of .NET applications

Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, and routing

Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates and secure network configurations

Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting

Strong understanding of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and infrastructure architecture

Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure, backups, and basic performance troubleshooting

Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals

Experience with Git and version-control workflows

Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting languages

Understanding of infrastructure security, access control, secrets management, and system hardening

Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good written and spoken English

The preferred candidate will have :

Professional experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other major cloud platforms

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

Experience with Docker and containerized applications

Experience with Kubernetes

Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware

Experience with centralized logging and monitoring platforms

Experience supporting high-traffic or high-availability applications

Experience with Memcached or other caching technologies

Experience with iGaming, payments, financial services, or other high-volume transactional platforms
