Maintenance Technician Hotel

Job Summary Keep hotel spaces safe, comfortable, and ready for guests and staff. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll inspect and maintain building interiors, facilities, and equipment; respond to repair needs; and help prevent disruptions through timely, careful work. You'll use practical mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skills while delivering courteous customer service. Your impact: Reliable repairs help guests enjoy comfortable stays and allow hotel teams to serve them smoothly. Responsibilities Perform facilities maintenance and building interior maintenance, including carpentry, maintenance painting, and residential painting as needed. Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical equipment, and other facilities equipment; complete routine maintenance and document work. Use hand tools, an ohmmeter, schematics, and other appropriate tools to identify faults and complete repairs safely. Support maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities; welding and programmable logic controller (PLC) work may be part of the role where applicable. Communicate repair updates clearly, respond to guest and staff requests with customer service, and coordinate work with colleagues. Requirements Practical maintenance experience or equivalent hands-on skills, with mechanical knowledge and experience in electrical work, electrical equipment repair, HVAC system repair, and plumbing system maintenance and repair. Ability to use hand tools and read schematics; familiarity with HVAC systems and facilities equipment maintenance. English communication skills sufficient to understand work requests, explain repair status, and follow safety procedures. Carpentry and painting skills are useful; experience with MRO, welding, or programmable logic controllers is preferred. Leadership skills and the ability to organize tasks, work independently, and collaborate with a team. Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Work Location: In person
