Technical Writer

Requirements: • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical documentation, API documentation, Technical Writing, System Analysis, or a related technical role. • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, accurately, and consistently. • Experienced in creating and maintaining API documentation, including endpoint descriptions, request/response examples, authentication, parameters, and error codes. • Experienced in creating and maintaining Postman Collections, including environments, variables, examples, and organized request folders. • Able to create Technical Specification Documents (TSD) with clear system flows, functional details, and technical specifications. • Able to create and maintain Use Case Diagrams and database relation schemes / Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). • Basic understanding of REST API, HTTP methods and status codes, JSON, SQL, relational databases, and system integration. • Familiar with documentation and API tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, Markdown, Confluence, or similar tools. • Able to collaborate effectively with Software Engineers, QA, Product Managers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to validate documentation accuracy. • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain document versioning, naming conventions, and documentation standards. • Basic knowledge of Git/version control is preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive API documentation for internal and external APIs. • Create and maintain standardized Postman Collections, including requests, examples, variables, environments, and API testing references. • Prepare Technical Specification Documents (TSD) for applications, modules, enhancements, integrations, and system changes. • Create and maintain Use Case Diagrams to describe actors, system interactions, and functional flows. • Create and maintain database relation schemes / Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) to document table relationships, key entities, and data structures. • Collaborate with Backend Engineers and other technical teams to verify endpoint behavior, payloads, business rules, and integration flows. • Ensure technical documentation is updated following changes to APIs, databases, architecture, applications, or system integrations. • Maintain consistent documentation templates, naming conventions, version history, and document organization. • Review and improve existing technical documentation to ensure completeness, readability, consistency, and accuracy. • Provide technical references and documentation support to QA, Product, Operations, and other teams for implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and project handover.
