About the role Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works on-site in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and local statutory regulations. Key responsibilities Review M&E shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submittals. Resolve technical clashes and site coordination issues between architectural, structural, and M&E services.

Supervise sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure work progress aligns with the master construction schedule, quality standards, and budget constraints.

Lead and participate in the testing, commissioning, and handover of all M&E systems, ensuring proper documentation, compliance certificates, and authority approvals (e.g., BCA, SCDF, NEA, PUB).

Enforce strict Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices on site and ensure all M&E installations comply with Singapore Codes of Practice and Authority requirements.

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, attend site coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors, and manage variation orders.

About you Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in M&E coordination and site execution within the Singapore construction industry, preferably on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or complex building projects.

Strong working knowledge of local building codes, statutory requirements (BCA, SCDF, PUB, NEA), and M&E installation standards (HVAC, plumbing, sanitary, electrical, fire protection systems).

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit (advantageous), and Microsoft Office.

Proactive, meticulous, able to work under pressure, and capable of working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
