Software Designer - High-Tech Semiconductor Equipment (PLC / C++ / C#)
Full time Bachelor Eindhoven
In this role, you contribute to the development of advanced high-tech semiconductor machines, such as next-generation sintering equipment. You operate across the full stack of machine and system control: from PLC-based machine control (TwinCAT / Siemens) to higher-level software components in C++ or C#.
You work in either an environment where software is developed from scratch or with large legacy source code, which is tightly integrated with hardware and electronics, requiring a balanced skillset across machine control and modern software engineering.
What excites you as a Software Designer - High-Tech Semiconductor Equipment (PLC / C++ / C#)?
As a Software Designer, you work on technically challenging semiconductor equipment where machine control and higher-level software come together. You translate requirements into robust designs, take ownership of modules or subsystems, and ensure a consistent design from the PLC layer up to system software.
From our office in Eindhoven, at customer locations, and remotely when appropriate, you enjoy working on:
- Designing and implementing machine control software using PLC technologies (TwinCAT 3 / Siemens) and or SECS/GEM.
- Developing higher-level equipment control software components in C++ and C#.
- Translating system requirements into integrated hardware-software solutions and challenging requirements to drive optimal designs.
- Bridging the gap between control engineering and software engineering disciplines.
- Contributing to the development and evolution of both greenfield and legacy architectures for hi...
