Head of Early Years — Silicon Valley International School (SVIS) Location: New Administrative Capital, Egypt

Join our team We’re seeking an experienced Head of Early Years to lead K – Y1, set the vision, elevate teaching and learning, and secure outstanding outcomes.

What you will do Set vision, strategy, and daily operations for Early Years aligned to EYFS and whole‑school goals.

Design and quality‑assure a play‑based, inquiry‑led, language‑rich EYFS curriculum with robust assessment.

Ensure high‑quality indoor/outdoor environments, continuous provision, and effective resourcing.

Coach and appraise teachers/assistants; lead PD and model best practice.

Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, behavior, and inclusion; maintain accurate records.

Use formative/summative assessments and observations to track progress and close gaps.

Build strong family partnerships through workshops, reporting, and clear communication.

Lead smooth transitions (entry into EY and EY → Year 2) in collaboration with Primary leadership.

Oversee admissions screenings, class placements, and new‑student induction.

Represent Early Years in leadership meetings and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

What you bring Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or Education) plus a recognized teaching qualification.

5+ years of successful Early Years teaching, including leadership/phase coordination, is a must.

Deep knowledge of EYFS, child development, multilingual support, and play‑based pedagogy.

Proven impact on improving outcomes via curriculum design, coaching, and environment planning.

C2 level in English is a must.

Organized, nurturing, decisive; strong leadership skills.
