About the company

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.

Who is Siemens Energy? At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company. With ~100.000 dedicated employees in more than 90 countries, we develop the energy systems of the future, ensuring that the growing energy demand of the global community is met reliably and sustainably. The technologies created in our research departments and factories drive the energy transition and provide the base for one sixth of the world's electricity generation.

Our global team is committed to making sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy a reality by pushing the boundaries of what is possible. We uphold a 150-year legacy of innovation that encourages our search for people who will support our focus on decarbonization, new technologies, and energy transformation.

Your tasks

A Snapshot of Your Day You join a team that is being built right now. Transformation of Industry is setting up a dedicated Function Controlling for the first time, and you are part of it from the start. On 25 August 2026 Siemens Energy announced preparations for the legal and operational separation of Transformation of Industry into a standalone company, a fast-growing business with around 17,000 employees, €6 billion of revenue and a double-digit profit margin. A standalone company needs its own transparency on the cost of its central functions — and that is exactly what this team delivers. You begin the day by reviewing the latest forecast for one of TI's central functions. Headcount, external spend and project costs have moved, and the functional leadership team needs a clear view of the financial impact. You discuss the key drivers, challenge assumptions and agree on actions. Later, you prepare the monthly performance review, coordinate inputs with local controllers and work with colleagues on a more efficient reporting solution. You are close to the business, comfortable with detail and able to turn numbers into a concise management message. This is a rare moment to join. A new company is being built, and with it a new Finance organization: the central Business Controlling team of Transformation of Industry is developing into the Corporate FP&A department of that company, an organization of more than 100 finance professionals. Within it, the Function Controlling team is defining common standards for planning, reporting, performance management and allocations — and you help shape them while owning the day-to-day business partnering for your functions. In this position you report directly to the Head of Function Controlling
