Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate a vehicle to transport and deliver cargo to various destinations within the designated area
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safe transportation of goods
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, timesheets, and any incidents that occur during the journey
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients, receiving and handling their inquiries, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise delivery schedules and routes
What we're looking for
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver in the logistics or transport industry
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's road network and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Good communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
