Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities Collaborate with customers to clarify design concepts and requirements for automation projects Develop concept designs, detailed designs, bills of materials (BOM), technical drawings, and conduct design cost analyses Assist in equipment setup, perform troubleshooting, and provide technical support to customers Prepare comprehensive machine operation manuals and related documentation Required competencies and certifications Minimum 2 years of experience designing factory automation systems including pick and place, conveyor, pneumatics, servo actuators, and sensors Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Mechanical engineering education at NITEC, Diploma, Degree level or higher
