GO13389956 Investment Support Analyst – ILP Operations (Insurance) 12 months

About the company

Our client, a leading financial services company, is looking for an Investment Support Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract, with a high potential for extension.

Your tasks

The role will focus on supporting the day-to-day operations of Investment-Linked Policy (ILP) funds, covering fund pricing, reconciliations, reporting and coordination with external service providers. The successful candidate will also help maintain strong operational controls and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

• Manage day-to-day ILP fund operations, including pricing activities, NAV reviews, fund flows and switches.
• Carry out reconciliations across cash, holdings, units and fees, investigating discrepancies and ensuring outstanding issues are resolved.

• Work closely with external fund administrators and custodians to monitor service delivery, follow up on queries and manage escalations.
• Prepare and review fund-related reports, including fact sheets, performance updates, fee/TER reports and regulatory submissions.

• Coordinate fund-related changes and lifecycle activities, such as new fund launches, mergers, closures, corporate actions and fee adjustments.
• Investigate pricing discrepancies and operational issues, ensuring root causes are identified and appropriate corrective actions are taken.

• Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory reviews, ensuring the required information and supporting documentation are available.
• Keep operational procedures and documentation up to date, ensuring processes are properly followed and controls are maintained.

• Look for ways to improve existing workflows and support automation initiatives using Excel, Power Automate and other data tools.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment operations, ILP or unit trust operations, fund accounting or fund administration. Experience within insurance, asset management or fund administration would be advantageous.

• Good understanding of fund pricing, NAV, reconciliations and fund accounting.
• Familiarity with MAS requirements relating to ILP and fund reporting would be an advantage.

• Strong Excel skills, with knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI, SQL or Python being a plus.
• Detail-oriented, with a good understanding of operational controls and risk management.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with external service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Practical, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to start at short notice
