Technical Specialist - Electronics / Electrical

Our client is a Germany-based MNC and a leading global provider of professional security, communications and electronics solutions. Working Days: Monday – Friday Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm Location: Bishan / Marymount Job Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose and repair faulty electronic and electrical devices and systems. Troubleshoot electronic and electrical malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment. Replace or repair defective components and parts to restore equipment functionality. Review and support repair activities from service centres across the Asia-Pacific region. Provide technical guidance and support on repair-related issues when required. Perform rework and repair activities according to established procedures and specifications. Read and interpret product service manuals, technical documents, schematics and diagrams. Ensure test and diagnostic equipment is properly maintained and operating accurately. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, test results and maintenance activities. Communicate repair status, technical findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders. Ensure all repair activities comply with workplace safety and operational requirements.

Requirements Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar technical role. Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and electrical equipment. Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools. Basic to intermediate knowledge of electronic and electrical systems. Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals and diagrams.
