The department is looking for support in Software Development specialized in embedded avionics software with a strong background in development and integration of real-time, safety-critical embedded systems for aerospace applications. The jobholder works as a Software Developer / Architect for embedded real time software (d/f/m)

Ihre Aufgaben

Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements

Studium:

• Informatik mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang oder
• Luft- und Raumfahrt mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang

Berufserfahrung: IT / Informationssysteme mind. über 3 Jahre Luft- und Raumfahrt mind. über 3 Jahre Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications is required Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software development Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher German is a plus IT Experience in C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks) is needed Experience with virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers) Knowledge of Hardware Architectures (x86, ARM and RISC-V) Experience with CI/CD Methodologies
