housekeeping supervisor

*Job Overview* Radisson Hotel and Conference Calgary Airport is looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning, hospitality, and custodial services, with leadership skills to manage a team effectively. This role is vital in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff.

*Responsibilities*

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
• Schedule staff shifts, monitor attendance, and manage workload distribution.
• Address guest requests or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.
• Enforce health and safety regulations in accordance with hotel policies and industry standards.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning procedures that improve efficiency and quality.

*Requirements*

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning, and custodial equipment.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills to interact professionally with staff and guests.

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
