SENIOR FAÇADE ENGINEER (MANDARIN SPEAKER)

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Facade Engineer with expert-level Mandarin communication skills to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and manage facade engineering activities from design development through project execution.
2. Review and develop facade systems, shop drawings, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
3. Coordinate facade design and technical matters with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
4. Conduct technical review of facade materials, systems, mock-ups, testing, and installation methods.
5. Identify and resolve technical issues related to facade performance, waterproofing, structural integrity, thermal performance, and constructability.
6. Monitor facade installation to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
7. Prepare technical reports, method statements, inspection reports, and other engineering documentation.
8. Communicate and coordinate directly with Mandarin-speaking clients, consultants, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
9. Support project teams in technical negotiations and problem-solving.
10. Ensure facade works comply with applicable Indonesian standards, international standards, and project specifications.
11. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the facade engineering team.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facade engineering, facade construction, curtain wall, building envelope, or related projects.

13. Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering documents.
14. Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
15. Fluent Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is REQUIRED.
16. Good English communication skills are an advantage.
17. Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of other engineering/design software is an advantage.
18. Willing to travel to project sites when required.
19. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
20. Candidates with experience working with Chinese/Mandarin-speaking clients, facade manufacturers, contractors, or suppliers will be highly preferred.
21. Experience with large-scale high-rise, commercial, residential, hotel, or mixed-use projects is an advantage.
