Mandarin-Speaking Business Assistant
(Sales) 📍 Jakarta (On-site) | Full-time
About the Role We’re looking for a Mandarin-speaking Business Assistant with a sales background to support our management and drive business growth in Indonesia. You’ll work closely with Chinese leadership and local teams, helping develop partners, follow up on deals, and turn business plans into results on the ground.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and resellers; follow up on leads through to closing
- Interpretation (Mandarin ⇄ Bahasa Indonesia/English)Support Chanel Sales Manager in business negotiations with coffee shops' partner including the visits.
- Monitoring and track new user acquisitions' targets, pipeline, and performance; prepare regular sales reports for management
- Research the local market, competitors, and potential partners to identify new business opportunities
- Coordinate between management, sales, and operations teams to make sure projects are executed on time
- Prepare and translate proposals, presentations, and business documents
- Take on other business tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (business, marketing, or Chinese language is a must)
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written); HSK 5 or above preferred
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; good English is a plus
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (B2B or channel sales preferred)
- Proven track record of hitting targets and building client relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills; comfortable meeting clients in the field
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for basic sales tracking
- Target-driven, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
