We are looking for a Risk Data Analyst .

The Integrated Risk Management team is managing risk profile of the company. Identifying financial risks and management advisory on their mitigation. Providing service of developing forecasting and risk models for the Company's financial portfolio and implementation in the Company's processes.

Challenges that await you :

Take ownership of credit risk management as a key domain, oversee the management of credit, liquidity, FX, and strategic (business plan) risks, acting as the 2nd line of defense in the organization’s risk management structure

Accurately calculate the unit economics of credit products, with a deep understanding of credit risk drivers, to deliver essential insights for strategic decision-making

Develop, implement, and automate a comprehensive risk management framework, integrating it effectively into organizational documents and processes

Analyze the methodology of Mexican (CNBV, Banxico) and global (Basel, IFRS) frameworks to apply best practices to PLATA’s processes

Evaluate internal and external data to identify potential threats to the PLATA loan portfolio, construct econometric models to predict portfolio dynamics, and detect unusual behavior

Create effective data visualizations and presentations to communicate findings and drive necessary actions among managers

What makes you a great fit :

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in risk and data analysis, preferably within credit organizations or consulting; experience in integrated risk management is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in STEM, finance, or economics; a Master’s degree is highly advantageous

Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, with expertise in statistical analysis, data modeling, and extracting insights from complex data sets

Proficiency in SQL and Python (/R) is essential, complemented by knowledge of Tableau (/Apache Superset) and Excel

A self-starter with the capability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Outstanding presentation and communication skills, adept at conveying intricate data concepts to non-technical audiences

B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
