Engineering Coordinator (QA/QC Track)

Job Description

As our Mechanical Engineering Technician, you'll be the person who tracks every job through our workshop from arrival to delivery, and produces the technical documentation our customers rely on.

You will:

• Track all incoming, in-progress and outgoing jobs, and keep the job status board up to date
• Photograph equipment on arrival to record its as-received condition
• Liaise daily with the workshop team on repair schedules and job priorities
• Capture progress photos as jobs move through repair
• Prepare the engineering report for each completed job — scope, findings, repairs carried out
• Prepare the photo report showing before/after condition of repaired areas
• Maintain job records and measurement data

Job Requirements

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, Marine Technology, or a related engineering discipline
• Fresh graduates welcome — no work experience required, full training provided
• Comfortable with MS Word and Excel
• Willing to work on the workshop floor daily, not only at a desk
• Careful and detail-oriented — reports go directly to customers
• Able to commit long-term; we're investing training toward a QA/QC career path

Nice to have, not required:

• basic understanding of mechanical drawings, measuring tools, or pump/rotating equipment.
