Pet Transport Driver (Part-Time)
Your tasks
- Pick up pets from clients' homes and bring them to the shop for grooming appointments
- Safely secure pets during transport (in travel crates)
- Return pets home after grooming is complete
- Communicate with clients about pickup/drop-off times and any delays
- Handle pets calmly and confidently, including nervous or anxious animals
- Keep your vehicle clean, sanitized, and pet-safe between trips
- Follow a daily pickup/drop-off schedule and plan your route efficiently
Requirements
We're looking for a responsible, animal-loving independent driver to safely transport pets between clients' homes and our grooming shop.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Valid vehicle insurance and registration
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Good communication skills for coordinating with clients and shop staff
- Ability to lift/carry pets and pet carriers as needed

Engagement details
- Commitment: Minimum of 2 days per week, with at least 1 of those days being a Saturday
- Scheduling: You'll join our team of part-time drivers. Each month, everyone submits their available dates for the following month, and the roster is planned around everyone's availability.
- Flexibility: Because the roster is built from your submitted availability, you can plan time off in advance, such as a week or two for a family holiday for example
