Filling Station Cashier

Responsibilities:

Receive and process customer payments accurately

Handle cash, POS and other approved payment methods

Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records

Reconcile cash and sales records at the end of each shift

Maintain accurate records of daily transactions

Attend to customers politely and professionally

Ensure all payments are properly accounted for

Report discrepancies or suspicious transactions to the supervisor

Work closely with pump attendants and station management

Keep the cashier's area clean and organized

Follow all company cash-handling and operational procedures

Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

Minimum of HND/BSc; additional qualifications are an advantage

Previous experience as a cashier, filling station cashier, retail cashier or similar role is an advantage

Good numerical and basic computer skills

Ability to operate a POS terminal

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Honest, trustworthy and responsible

Good communication and customer-service skills

Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required

Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment Must be willing to work in Asaba, Owerri or Onitsha
