Job Description

Lead and oversee the company's finance, accounting, and financial control functions. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and statutory reporting. Manage corporate tax, GST, tax compliance, and liaise with external tax advisors and auditors. Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. Support and eventually serve as a reliable backup to the current Senior Manager. Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team while driving continuous process improvements. Partner with internal stakeholders to support business and financial decision-making. Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including the implementation of a new core system. Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• At least 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with several years in a managerial position.
• Prior experience handling with account firm, particularly in Audit or Tax, is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:

1. Financial reporting
2. Financial controls
3. Corporate tax and GST
4. Statutory compliance
5. Audit processes

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of finance operations.
• Experience leading finance process improvements or ERP/system implementation projects would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
