Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services (LBAPS) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our growing administrative team in Brooklyn. What You'll Do:
Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll for a large multi-location organization
Review employee timesheets, attendance records, and payroll data for accuracy and completeness
Support payroll audits, reporting, and compliance activities
Maintain employee payroll records and documentation
Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Assist with onboarding paperwork and payroll-related documentation
Collaborate with Human Resources, Accounting, and Operations teams
Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations
Help identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
Qualifications:
Previous payroll, bookkeeping, administrative, office assistant, or human resources experience preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with payroll software or HR systems
Experience in healthcare, education, or professional services environments
Familiarity with payroll compliance and employee record management
