Do you want to expand your expertise and join an innovative and fast-changing industry?  Joining Novaspace means integrating an innovative and fast-growing international consulting group specialized in the space sector. Novaspace is currently seeking an Events’ project manager to contribute to its growth in the space industry.  We are seeking an experienced project manager reporting to our Events Director to support our events activities and strategy in the space sector. This contract is for the replacement of someone on maternity leave : the contract starts from July 1st to November 30th, 2026. About the position Reporting to the Events Director, the Program Manager will play a key role in c onference content coordination, speaker management, program committee support and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with senior representatives from government institutions, military organizations, space agencies, industry leaders, sponsors and international partners to ensure the successful delivery of high-level conferences and executive events within the global space and defense ecosystem. Responsibilities include: Manage and coordinate the conference programs , including the Space Defense & Security Summit (SDSS) , Novaspace's international conference dedicated to space defense and security. Identify, invite and coordinate senior speakers from Ministries of Defence, Armed Forces, Space Commands, Space Agencies, international organizations and leading space and defense companies. Support agenda development, conference content production and session planning in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Manage speaker communications, briefing documents, moderator coordination and program-related materials . Build and maintain relationships with speakers , institutional stakeholders and partners. Monitor speaker confirmations, content development and program milestones to ensure timely delivery. Professional qualifications & Experience Master's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in the organization of international conferences , congresses, forums, or executive-level events. Proven experience working with both public-sector stakeholders (government institutions, agencies, associations) and private-sector organizations. Experience in conference program management, speaker coordination, and stakeholder engagement is a strong asset. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strategic problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environments. Languages Fluency in English , both written and spoken, is mandatory. Knowledge of French is a strong asset. Additional languages are a plus.
