You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Enhanced Securities Division of the Warfare of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Major duties

  • You will oversee and provide continuity of enhanced security management in SAP and/or SCI environments for facility, personnel, document control, equipment, and visitor control in complex multi-level security environments
  • You will be doing interviews, indoctrinations, debriefings, inspections, security education, policy enforcement, and routine guidance to program individuals.
  • You will serve as an expert consultant to higher management within Navy, DOW, other services and industry on all matters pertaining to the branch's products.
  • You will supervise a branch within the Enhanced Securities Division by assigning work to be consistent with branch, division, and department staffing, resources, priorities and objectives.
  • You will administer performance appraisal systems and conduct all supervisory activity in accordance with EEO and Merit System policies and guidelines
  • You will be required to earn the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (or equivalent that demonstrates a security practitioner's understanding of foundational concepts, principles, and practices)

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Experience at the journeyman level Government Special Security Officer (GSSO) and/or Special Security Representative (SSR) supporting complex, multi-level security special programs in accordance with policies, programs and procedural requirements is required. 2.) Sanitization, safeguarding, processing and storing and destroying sensitive classified information. 3.) Require journeyman level experience in the security compliance inspection process, Security Education Training development and delivery and security administration (standard operating procedures, inventory, personnel access process, etc.).
